Cranberry Orange Bread

Electric Oil Core Skillet Baking

Equipment

  • 1 Saladmaster Electric Oil Core Skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 Cups cups of gluten free or all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 Cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 Cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 Cup Melted coconut oil (can substitute other oil)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Zucchini
  • 2 tsp Orange Zest
  • 1 Cup Cranberries

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt.
  • In another bowl blend yogurt, vanilla and oil. Slowly add dry ingredients.
  • Add one egg at a time and fold in zucchini and cranberries.
  • Preheat Electric Oil Core Skillet to 200 F and the spray skillet
    with avocado spray.
  • Pour in batter and set to 300 F, cover and cook for 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Ham Bone-in
  • 1 Bottle Sprite or 7-Up
  • Pineapple Slices
  • 1 Jar Maraschino Cherries

Instructions
 

  • Place ham in a cold pan, secure pineapple, and cherries to the ham with toothpicks and pour the Sprite or 7-Up over the ham.
  • Put the lid on tight and turn your stove to medium, when the Vapo Valve clicks, turn the stove down to low.
  • If you are using the 7 Qt. with High Dome Cover, you will know when you have reached medium when the lid spins freely and easily around about 5-10 times and moisture bubbles around the edges.

Healthy Quick and Easy Quiche

Ingredients
  

  • 12 Eggs
  • 1 Green bell pepper Seeded and diced
  • 1 White onion Processed with Saladmaster Food Processor #2 Cone
  • Fresh spinach
  • Tomato Sliced
  • Cheddar cheese Processed with Saladmaster Food Processor #2 Cone
  • 1/2 Cup Pancake mix
  • Butter

Instructions
 

  • Whisk 12 eggs, then add diced peppers, onion and pancake mix to bowl and mix.
  • Coat bottom and sides of Electric Skillet with butter.
  • Pour mixture in Electric Skillet and turn to 350 degrees.
  • Place spinach leaves and tomatoes on top. Wait for the Vapo-Valve to click, then turn heat to low for 10 – 15 minutes.
  • Add cheese; cover & cook for 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted. Use the Saladmaster Turner and gently slice “pie wedges” and serve.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 Yukon Gold Potatoes Cut in Half
  • 1 Onion Processed with Saladmaster Food Processor
  • 1 Celery Processed with Saladmaster Food Processor
  • 1 Carrot Processed with Saladmaster Food Processor

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Roaster over medium heat for 7-9 minutes until a sprinkle of water skitters and dissipates.
  • Place a third of the onion and celery in your roaster and place your turkey on top of them. Add onion, celery and rosemary inside the cavity of the turkey.
  • Add potatoes, carrots, onions and celery all around the turkey. Season with salt, pepper, rosemary, garlic and cover. When Vapo-Valve™ clicks, reduce heat to low and cook according to the chart listed in the tips section of the recipe.
  • Preheat oven to broil.
  • Uncover and remove vegetables from roaster and set aside. Take roaster, put it in the oven and remove handles before closing. Broil turkey for 5 mins or until it's browned (time may vary depending on oven)
  • Add handles, remove from oven and serve alongside your vegetables.

  • Cooking Time: Minutes per pound – whole, halves, quarters…25; stuffed breast…30; boneless “steaks” or “fillets”…30.
  • We do not recommend using stuffing for a stove top cooked whole turkey due to the abundance of moisture.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fish fillets (flounder, tilapia etc.) rinse and pat dried
  • 1 Onion Processed, use Cone #2
  • 4 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 2 Jalapeno peppers Chopped
  • 2 Cups Tomatoes Diced
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh cilantro, Chopped
  • 2 Limes Juiced
  • 2 Limes Juiced
  • 8 Corn Tortillas White or Yellow
  • 1 Avocado Sliced
  • 1 Cup Cabbage Shredded, use Cone #3
  • Cilantro Garnish
  • Lime Wedges Garnish
  • Salsa Garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat skillet over medium heat. When several drops of water sprinkled in skillet skitter and dissipate, approximately 7 – 9 minutes, add the onion and garlic, jalapeno, cilantro, tomatoes and lime juice.
  • Insert Utility Rack over the vegetables.
  • Season fish fillet with salt and pepper, add to the Utility Rack and cover.
  • Cook for approximately 7-10 mins until fish begins to flake.
  • Remove fish and add to the skillet. Mix well to combine the flavors with the fish.
  • Heat tortillas on a griddle.
  • Fill tortillas with fish mixture and top with cabbage, avocado, cilantro and a squeeze of lime. (salsa if desired)
  • Serve warm with a side of spanish rice.
